Spraying:

Spraying is not usually required, however in some cases it will be beneficial. Muscadine grapes are highly resistant to almost all disease and insect attacks. Some varieties are more resistant than others. All Muscadine varieties are subject to black rot fungus (small brown spots on the leaves), which is found wherever Muscadine grapes are grown. By selective breeding, a high degree of resistance has been obtained on some varieties while others are badly affected.
