GOLDEN ISLES: Bronze; fruit are medium in size. Plants are cold hardy and have good disease resistance. Golden Isles flavor is not very good for eating, but it possesses unique qualities for wine. Sugar Content 15.5%-16.5%. Uses: Wine, Juice and Jelly.

MAGNOLIA (Picture): Bronze (White); fruit are medium to large in size, cluster, good flavor, and excellent yields. Plants are very vigorous, cold hardy, and disease resistant. Sugar Content 16%-17%. Uses: Wine, Home, Commercial, Juice and Jelly.

NOBLE (Picture) : Black; fruit are small in size, very large clusters, very high yields, ripen mid season with a wet stem scar. SOUTHERN HOME (Plant Patent Pending) : Black; fruit are medium in size, loose clusters, and ripens late. Plant growth habits are vigorous and have good disease resistance. Southern Home's leaf shape is very unique when compared to other muscadines, the shape is similar to that of a maple leaf. It is highly recommended for ornamental uses such as arbors and fences. SOUTHLAND (Picture) : Black; fruit are medium to large in size, good yields, very good flavor, and ripen mid to late season. Plant vigor is average and it has good disease resistance. Sugar Content 17%-18%. Uses: Home, Commercial, Fresh Market, Juice and Jelly.

STERLING (Picture) : Bronze; fruit are medium to large in size, good flavor, clusters, high yields, and ripen mid season. Plants are vigorous, disease resistant, and excellent cold hardiness. Sugar Content 16% -17%. Uses: Fresh Market, Wine, Juice and Jelly.

TARA (Picture): Bronze; fruit are large in size, good flavor, dry stem scar, and ripen early to mid season. Plants are initially slow growing but become more vigorous after the first growing season, disease resistant, and cold hardy. Sugar Content 16.5%-17.5%.

HIGGINS: Reddish Bronze; fruit are medium to large in size, good flavor, very good yields, wet stem scar, ripen mid to late season. Plants have average vigor and good disease resistance. Sugar Content 15%-16%. Uses: Fresh Market, Wine, Home, and Pick Your Own.

HUNT: Black; fruit are medium in size, good flavor, large clusters, dark juicy flesh, medium to high yields, wet stem scar, ripen early to mid season. Plants are very vigorous and have good cold resistance. Hunt is a great all purpose variety to plant. Sugar Content 16%-17%. Uses: Fresh Market, Home, Wine, Juice and Jelly.

JUMBO: Black; fruit are very large in size, high yields, good flavor, dry stem scar, clusters, ripen late. Plants are very vigorous and have very good disease resistance. Jumbo is one of the largest black muscadine varieties. Sugar Content 15%-16%. Uses: Wine, Home, Fresh Market, Juice, and Jelly.

SCARLETT (Picture) : Red; fruit are large in size, high yields, very good flavor, dry stem scar, ripen mid season. Plants are cold hardy, have good disease resistance, and are very vigorous. Sugar Content 17.5%-18.5%. Uses: Fresh Market, Pick Your Own, and Home.

SCUPPERNONG: Bronze; fruit are medium in size, excellent flavor, wet stem scar, ripen mid to late season. Plants are vigorous, with fair to good disease resistance. Scuppernong is the oldest cultivated variety of muscadines dating back to the 1500's. Sugar Content 17%-18%. Uses: Wine, Fresh Market, Juice, and Jelly.

SUMMIT (Picture) : Reddish Bronze; fruit are medium to large in size, excellent flavor, dry stem scar, high yields, and ripen early to mid season. Plants are very vigorous, fairly cold hardy, and have very good disease resistance. Summit makes a good replacement for Scuppernong in most applications. Sugar Content 17%-18%.
