THORNLESS ERECT VARIETIES
APACHE: (US Plant Patent 11,865) Fruit are very large in size, with very good flavor, and an average sugar content of 10-11%. Fruit ripen over about a five week period with very high yields.
ARAPAHO: (US Plant Patent 8510) Fruit are medium in size, good flavor, and an average sugar content of 9-10%. Fruit ripen early over about a four week period with good yields.
NAVAHO: ( US Plant Patent 6679) Fruit are medium in size, excellent flavor, and an average sugar content of 11-12%. Fruit ripen mid season over a five to six week period with good yields. Fruit are also very firm making storage and handling potential exceptional.
OUACHITA: (US Plant Patent Pending) Fruit are large in size, very good flavor, and an average sugar content of 10- 11%. Fruit ripen mid season over about five weeks with consistently high yields. Ouachita is potentially the best variety for storage and handling.

THORNLESS SEMI-ERECT VARIETIES
TRIPLE CROWN: Fruit are large in size, and have an excellent sweet flavor. Fruit ripen later than most varieties with very good yields. Triple Crown has fairly firm fruit making it good for packaging and shipping. Being semi-erect Triple Crown requires more trellising than regular erect varieties.
STANDARD ERECT VARIETIES
CHICKASAW: (US Plant Patent 11,861) Fruit are very large in size, good flavor, and an average sugar content of 9-10%. Fruit ripen mid season over five to six weeks with very high yields.
KIOWA: (US Plant Patent 9861) Fruit are the largest of any other variety, good flavor, and an average sugar content of 10-11%. Fruit ripen mid season over a six week period with good yields.
SHAWNEE : (US Plant Patent 5686) Fruit are medium to large in size, good flavor, and an average sugar content of 9-11%. Fruit ripen mid season over four to five weeks with very high yields.
